Before practicing Family Law and Criminal Law, Alex spent 15 years in law enforcement, a career which culminated in her role as an agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. In addition to becoming a Master Instructor, Alex received the Medal of Valor and Police Officer of the Year awards for daring rescue during a nursing home fire. Now as a practicing family law attorney, clients find Alex’s background very beneficial when proceeding with difficult cases. When Alex is not practicing family or criminal law, she is teaching criminal justice classes at a local college or training for her next marathon.
