Before practicing Family and Criminal Law, Alex spent 15 years in law enforcement, a career which culminated in her role as an agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. In addition to becoming a Master Instructor, Alex received the Medal of Valor and Police Officer of the Year awards for daring rescue during a nursing home fire. When Alex is not practicing law or teaching criminal justice classes at a local college, you will find her training for her next marathon.
